So if I have an old 3ds LL but I set my region to United States in setup do I set the 3ds hack guide region to us or jpn?

after setting up the SD card i boot up the 3ds and it takes me to a black screen with text asking me to configure luma3ds. you skipped over that in the video so im not sure what i need to do ;/

Never had this hansheld so i have no clue what iam doing, i have to wait for 256gb sd card and charger that i can start. I saw a video ppl make like jailbreak and/or mod they have emulator and all games from oldwst gameboy to new and apps anyone now how to so that please with tutorial, i have a laptop and i think i can easily do that and it wojld be awesome having tons of games for free and more. ok so I have cfw already on my 3ds (cause I got it refurbished I think) but when I check my sd card I just seem a bunch of numbers and letters and private (I just got the sd card after it got cfw)
